Bush Saying Stop 'Swift Boat' Ads

Well, appears Kerry is getting what he wants, however I do see one interesting conundrum here.

The Swift Boat Veterans for Truth is an independent group comprised of Vietnam Veterans, putting an ad up about their feelings of Kerry.

If I wanted an ad about Kerry, and I pay for my ads time, why can someone else decide I shouldn't show the ad. I know if I had a personal message about Kerry, or anybody else for that matter, my main goal would be to spread my message. Being the Swift Boat ads never endorse president Bush, it's not really right for him to ask for it to stop...

And when has Bush demanded an ad put up by MoveOn.org or other similar type groups be stopped? It may have happened before, but I sure can't remember when...
