Kerry Strikes Back Against Vietnam Criticism
I find this so amazing. This ad questions Kerry on some issues, and Kerry is making a huge ruckus about it. However there exist this day tapes where Kerry claimed the men around him (many the same men taken part in this ad) willingly raped Vietnamese women, shot & killed civilians, razed villages, and a huge long list of much more...
So why is it OK for Kerry to claim these people around him did these terrible things on the record, but now that a huge group got together and happen to be turning the tables (all of who may be telling the truth), it's a huge terrible thing that is Bush's fault??? I really don't understand why Kerry and literally a few others (who were actually there) are accusing a huge group of honorable veterans of lying (in not so many words), and then expect everybody to be certain this group of 60 are the dishonest ones (being indirectly paid/supported by Bush), compared to him and a literally small group of others (who were actually in Vietnam). It seems to me he's trying to pin this on Bush because he knows he can't tackle the people making the accusations against him. He's trying to let the media do that because he knows they can go to any lengths to get information to fall where they want it. Kerry's only course of action is to blame the president while seemingly ignoring the very people who are making these claims...
These statements I made don't even take into account inhuman things Kerry himself directly stated he did on the record. Why were these things OK for Kerry to do without punishment while the people involved in Abu Ghraib are being court marshaled and sent to prison for acts remarkably petty compared to Kerry's own confession? Should we just ignore Kerry's on the record confessions???
