Kerry slams Bush for lack of immediate action on September 11

Democratic presidential hopeful John Kerry (news - web sites) slammed US President George W. Bush (news - web sites) for not jumping to action when he heard about the September 11, 2001 attacks.

What I find so ironic abou this is the fact that, had Bush immedately jumped up and ran out of the room, the Dems would be bashing him saying he was rash, and did little to calm the children that he was reading to. They would be accusing him of not being cool headed, and say he lost control...

This issue has little to do with what happened, and everything to do with the Dems partican attacks on our president.

And if you think that he should have jumped up right away, then maybe you should read about how the Sarasota principal defends Bush from "Fahrenheit 9/11" portrayal:

"I don't think anyone could have handled it better," Tose'-Rigell told the Sarasota Herald-Tribune in a story published Wednesday. "What would it have served if he had jumped out of his chair and ran out of the room?"...

The principal said she didn't vote for Bush. "But that day I would have voted for him."

Kerry is trying to find any little piece of information to attack Bush with. Next he'll be saying how bad Bush's choice of tie was on that day...
