Michelle Malkin should realize if you are going to do a story on how distorted something is, you shouldn't be so blatantly distorted and one sided in the process...

She references the views of "caretakers and parents" as proof Terri is not in a vegistative state, but doesn't seem to regard any of the countless physicians which have examined Terri and come to the conclusion she IS in a vegistative state.

She refers to a single affidavit of a nurse, yet leaves out the fact that this same nurse is running the gamete of talk shows, and is seemingly getting a whole lot of attention for this supposed detail. She of coarse doesn't seem to take into account that this nurse may have actually lied for media attention...

She also seems to leave out, as much of the media has chosen to, the fact that she went though several years of therapy (view this page), and seemed to get worse over time -- not better...

And, as much of the media seems to be fully discounting: She doesn't mention the fact that the decision to remove the tube was that of the court. You see, Michael didn't step up & say "I want it out" then it was done. According to Florida state law the Judge essentially became Terri's guardian, and upon the courts ruling that the removal of the tube is what Terri wanted, it was done (then re-inserted then re-removed, then...).

The only real medical account saying Terri is not in a vegistative state comes from a "Nobel-Prize Nominated Doctor". I put that in quotes for a specific reason: He was NEVER nominated for the Nobel Prize... That was thrown around the media more times than I can count on my fingers and toes...

Outside of this any experts appear to have based their diagnoses solely on a select video tape. I explained in another post this was akin to diagnosing my medical conditions based off of a short tape of me walking. The problem is, based solely off that tape, you wouldn't be able to tell my 2 artificial hips and severely damaged joints from a sprained ankle...

I actually just did a search of my blog, and found a prevous post I made about Michelle Malkin. While typing this whole thing I did not realized I did another critical post about her... It's nice to see I'm being consistant... Of corse, then again I guess she is too...
