Just a little interesting note...
Activists, INCLUDING many IN Mexico say illegal immigrants should be granted education in the US.
However, in Mexico you are REQUIRED to have a birth certificate to attend school. THIS policy actually keeps many poor Mexican citizens from being able to attend school. This is mainly because it would require these citizens to walk for hours or days to get to a facility to get a copy of a birth certificate, then pay the equivalent of a weeks food money in processing fees... The policy also makes it IMPOSSIBLE for any immigrants illegally in Mexico to attend school...
Mexico states this policy is reasonable.
If in fact it is "reasonable", why do they state WE IN THE UNITED STATES have an OBLIGATION to give their citizens an education here??? It's a little hypocritical for Mexico to state the US should have a MUCH weaker policy on who it allows in the education system then they themselves do...
