I was doing a little browsing today and ran across a link to a web site called
The Lost Cosmonauts. It's idea is to be dedicated to thoes who were sent into space, but then erased from history to cover up the fact they didn't make it back alive...
The Soviet Union covered all these failures up, more as a propoganda action than anything else. The first man in space, who as of now remains completely unidentified, went unconcous and died. This website provides a recording of this man who's breathing and heartbeat apparently are indicative of dieing...
The first woman in space went up and apparently had problems with heat tiles, and after being kept up in space for some time, the decision was made to bring her back down. The site includes a 3 minute 30 second recording of her return to earth. Repeatedly saying it's getting too hot... There is to this day no public record of a satalite this big being launched prior to that date, nor any record of supposedly what the satalite that big was even for...

Though they are respected behind closed doors, the public to this day has no official knowledge of these people even existing...
