UTC - We Didn't Steel This Land, We Bought It
Tony Valdez's statement that YOU killed people to get this country is not fully correct.

You took this country. You killed people in order to take this country for yourselves.

First off, I thought Tony Valdez was an American citizen. Once again, evidence that most of these immigrants don't want to become Americans... Even ones who have become Americans still don't consider themselves to be American.

Besides the fact, we didn't steal the land, we paid for it, along with excepting any private debt enclosed with that land. We also are regularly giving millions to Mexico on a yearly basis today, so in a sense we're still paying for it. Not to mention we're giving billions to Mexican illegals yearly... Oh, and for the record, Mexico is fully conqured land... So Mexicans killed people in order to take their country too...

Oh, and he says something about the Mormon Battalion monument & how the Mormon Battalion killed thousands of Mexicans. However, if you read the history of the Mormon Battalion you would clearly see they came close to fighting once, however the Mexican soilders retreated. In other words, they never killed a single Mexican soilder... Or in other words Tony's statement was not the least bit historically accurate...

You are an idiot. You need to read a book, SPANIARDS conquered Mexico..not Mexicans. Typical racist banter. Get a clue asshole.

        I'm racist?

What about the fact that Tony Valdez accuzed both John and Ken, as well as the rest of Americans, of killing people to "take this country" for themselves?

For starters one of the two is certain, and the other pretty sure their ancestors didn't live in this country durring the war against Mexico. But no, they're both white Americans, so they are inherently personally responsible for killing Mexicans aren't they?

A recent poll showed two things: The percentage of whites who have negiative opinions of Hispanics as a whole is fairly low, and ironically is EQUAL to the percentage of Hispanics who have negative opinions of Hispanics. To simplify: Whites & Hispanics view of Hispanics are pretty much equal. However a significant percentage of Hispanics have negative opinons of Whites... But, hey, only whites can be racist I guess, so none of this matters.

When a Hispanic American seperates himself from being American in order to seperate himself away from other Americans to inherently accuse them (me) of being murderers, pointing out that the heritage he's using to attack me with does not exactly have a clean slate, why does that automatically qualify me for being racist?

I have two friends in my life whom I consider to be my best friends (it's difficult for me to pick one over the other as 'the best'). One is Asian, the other is Hispanic. The number of white friends I have can be counted on one hand. The number of total friends I have cannot be counted on two hands and two feet. My wife is Chinese. Though I don't listen to it much any more, when I was younger I listed to rap music exclusively. One of my very favorate rap groups was Public Enemy, which if you are unaware primarily sing about the plight of African-Americans (the lead singer, Chuck D, hosts/hosted a radio show on the Air America network).

I have NO problem with ANY race & have firmly believed in the equality of all people regardless of ANYTHING else. I very much hate racism in any and all forms. But I'm very honestly stick and tired of the fact that anything a white person says to try to defend himself from an all out attack is immedeatly labled as racist, when the real racism is is the statement that started this post in the first place.

So you tell me I should get a clue? The fact that you want to try to minimalize what this post is really about is a much more common form of racist banter. So I think you should not only get a clue, but get a mirror as well.
