On the 11th of this month I went in for back surgery in order to repair a collapsed L5 S1 disk in my back. It caused a nerve to be pinched which has been creating severe pain throughout the back of my right leg, most notibly when sitting down.
Following the surgery my surgeon stated he felt that the surgery was a complete success and that my pain should be 100% gone. Unfortunatly, since returning home I've noted that the pain is not copmletely gone as of now, and may even be as bad as before the surgery. Right now my primary hope is that this is caused by inflamation following the surgery, but being my back itself is almost completely pain free (compared to my hip surgeries this took no time to heal), but the leg pain is as persistant as ever...
If this doesn't fix it, I'm not sure if I have any other options. The downfall would be pretty severe, as prior to the surgery a 10 minute or longer drive was the equivalent of severe torcher to myself... It could easily end up costing me the almost normal life I've lived since being diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. No more trips to Vegas, no more July 4th's in Filmore, no more movies at the movie theater...
At any rate, if you're reading this and are of the praying type, I would greatly appreciate remembering me durring your next prayer session.
