UTC - Libby Pardon & Liberal Hypocrisy
It amazes me how so many Liberals have such short term memory. They're chastising Bush for pardoning Libby, and yet these same people defend the ridiculous and seemingly criminal pardons Bill Clinton put into effect right before leaving office.

He pardoned convicted felons for NO other reason than they paid him a bunch of money... Apparently this get out of jail for a large some of money doesn't bother Liberals... This was OK... Here's a piece of a statement made by Bill Clinton when trying to defend his own pardons:

..Article II of the Constitution gives the president broad and unreviewable power to grant "Reprieves and Pardons" for all offenses against the United States...

Being Hillary is also spouting off against Bush, she must believe that this law about pardons only applies to her hubby...

If you're going to cry foul, either be consistent or shut the hell up. Nothing shows hypocrisy more than being politically inconsistent... For the record, here's a nice long list of Bill Clinton's Pardons.

Even more interesting is that they're claiming his prison sentence was for violating national security or something like that. However, in the end he was only convicted of lying under oath. Ironically this is the same thing Bill Clinton himself did. So again, be consistent or shut up...

I thought the Clinton impeachment was justified exactly because he lied under oath. Does it make me a "liberal" to think that Libby deserved to serve jail time because he did the same?
Or are so-called coservatives (most not worthy to shine WFB's shoes) the real hypocrites now?

No, what I'm saying is that most of the Liberals who are crying foul right now are the same ones that defended Clinton in his shady days.

In the end the impeachment meant nothing and he got a slap on the wrist. For people to complain that Libby isn't getting jail time while they defended Old Slick Willy back in the day is enherently hippocritical.

yes hypocrisy sucks...but remember to try not to offend those that are liberal but not hypocritical by using the umbrella term of "liberal" to speak to hypocrites.
