True Majority
I ran across this website from a link saying "Do you believe Bush falsified information about Iraq's WMDs? Send a free fax to congress asking them to investigate!"
There's a problem with this site that I found. I sent the following letter to them asking about it:
I ran across your web site linked from FOXNEWS.com... I see an option to fax congress "urging them to investigate falsified information by Bush about WMD"...
After taking a quick glance, I'm curious if you give an option to send a fax doing the opposite? Do you have an option to send a fax saying [we] support Bush & his decisions, and believe he was honest and doing the right thing, and that there is no need to question him???
In order to have a "True Majority" you need to have a method to counteract and disagree with the requests listed on your site. If you do not have this option, this would be a falsified "True Majority". It would mean it's a majority due to the fact that nobody has an option to say otherwise...
This would equate to me adding a pole to my website which would look like:
Do you believe Bush was honest about the reasons for the Iraqi war?
A. ( ) Yes
This would show an obvious majority since it's impossible for anybody to voice a disagreement with the statement. But if I argued it as being a "True Majority" I would essentially be lying...
