As of today MTV videos are available on iTunes
I'm refering to the best show to EVER air on MTV, that was yanked after only two seasons. The show I'm refering to is The Sifl & Olly Show. To this day I consider it to be one of my all time favorate shows. I, like many other fans, was very angry when MTV pulled it, and was recently made even more angry when it turned out the shows creators could not get the rights to sell season one & two on DVD (since MTV was retaining them). There was a season three DVD available for quite a while, and I was fortunate enough to be able to get one, though if you didn't get yours your current only hope is eBay (though the site says the store will be back up eventually, possibly with the DVD again). At any rate, since MTV wants to retain their rights to the show, there is NO reason they couldn't release the first two seasons on iTunes! I would be one of the first people to buy both seasons, regardless of cost. Will they do it? Who knows, though I'm guessing they won't. You see, my view of MTV is not so high as of today, and I just don't think they will do what all the fans are asking them to do. Only time will tell, maybe someone will sudgest it and they will do it, until then I'm stuck watching the few season two episodes I have recorded on VHS... If anybody who works for MTV happens to run across this post, I would ask that you PLEASE recomend it to someone. That one act would single handedly completely change my view of MTV today...
Well, it's been some time since my last blog. I've seemingly had a lot going on without getting much done...
I had a gamer's Christmas this year, or I should say a gamer's after Christmas... I got a few small things for my wife this year, and as happened last year I didn't really get anything on Christmas... But ironically enough I ended up with quite a bit after this holiday season. My wife had gotten a gift card for Westfield mall, and she told me I could get something with it. I was reluctant with what I wanted, but I did end up going with a (used) GameBoy Advance from the game store. I wasn't sure I would really enjoy it, but in fact I use it quite a bit. So all in all that was a good gift, all be it one I picked for myself. That ended up not being all I got, however. My mother did decide to give me a gift this year as well, and I was very surprised that she did, and extremely surprised as to what she got me. She got me an (original) XBox. It came with some racecar (or racecar spelled backwards) game, which I ended up trading in for a used copy of Halo. I also picked up a used copy of Doom 3. I'm quite pleased with the end result here, I got both an XBox and a GameBoy Advance. I would have never guessed before Christmas on even on Christmas that I would end up with so many gamer type gifts... Having both these system I got the idea to start a new site, which is currently in it's brainstorming phase. You will see more about it in coming months. Hopefully I can get it up an running quickly, as I think the idea will make a great tool for all the gamer's out there... Hopefully I won't procrastinate on it too much, kind of like my redo of my Mortal Kombat page on this site. What I've created so far is awesome, and there is a ton of it done, but I still have a VERY long way to go before it will be usable. Of coarse my new project will probably end up taking precedence over the MK project, but we'll see how it goes... |
