As of today I'm unemployed. I was laid off with several other co-workers. The company I worked for was hit by the economic situation. I worked there 3 months short of 10 years, but I was one of the many who drew a short straw that day.
If you're looking for a C# web application developer, I'm available!

Previously I attended UCSB under a Pre-Computer Science major, though I chose to drop out due to academic and other problems. I felt it was in my best interest to leave the school and pursue other interests.
I'm was working on earning a certificate in Web Site Design and Management through the UCSB Extension, though work has made it difficult to continue to take classes.

I'm married & live in a two bedroom apartment. I have no kids and will not likely have any anytime soon.
I am a Christian and was Baptized on May 25, 1997. Up until recently I've been going to South Coast Fellowship. This has recently changed, to Chinese Christian Church of Thousand Oaks. I normally go with my wife and other close friends.
Though I've never really been a major sports fan, I do enjoy watching the game of hockey. My favorate team is the Anaheim Ducks, of whom I've been a fan since day one.
My primary hobbies tend to be various collections. In the past I collected Action Figures & Beanie Babies (both of which I have many). Today I casually collect baking powder submarines & video game memorabilia.
I have type 1 diabetes, and have had it since I was seven. I have good control, for the most part. During the year I spent on Prednisone (a steroidal anti-inflammatory due to my rheumatoid arthritis), it was quite out of control (as result of the steroids).

I've been diagnosed with acute systemic rheumatoid arthritis. It has impaired my movement ability, and am considered legally handicapped. The overall effect has caused problems with some of my joints. After 2 years of the disorder I had a total left hip replacement, followed by right done in March '02.
In June following my surgery, I ended up having to call an ambulance minutes before loosing consciousness. It had turned out I had developed a serious infection, which sent me into septic shock and nearly killed me. I do not remember events in the hospital for over the first week I was in. I know now that after I went in, doctors told my mother I would NOT survive, after which they literally stuck me in a room to die. Basically at the time they said there was absolutely nothing they could do to save me. I'm very fortunate, as I did survive. I stayed in the hospital for over a month, and when all was said and done I had 5 separate surgeries on my hip. Two of these were to remove my hip, then to re-insert it. Unfortunately my ability to walk is not so good anymore. I also have a small scar resulting from a bed sore on the back of my head, which will no longer grow hair. But overall I'm doing good based on what I went though.
In 2007 I started developing a severe pain in my leg. After many months & many doctor visits I finally had it traced due to a back problem (a nerve was being pinched). I had surgery to fix it (and a subsequent follow-up since it didn't seem to be healing well, as we wanted to avoid another infection). The surgery was a success and the severe leg pain has been gone ever since.
In general I'm somebody who likes to laugh. I always try to make jokes, and enjoy watching comedy shows/movies. Though my constant tendency to joke has been known to get on peoples nerves a every now and then...

This section is deadicated to my girlfriend fiancee wife. You can see her beautiful picture on the right. We first met on October 31st of 2002, at a Church function. After which (with a little help from friends) we became close friends. On December 31st we officially became boyfriend & girlfriend. We have continued to grow closer together ever since.
I've renamed this section from girlfriend to fiancee as we've been engaged since Christmas Day '04... I've since renamed the section from fiancee to wife, since our wedding has now taken place...
I love her very much and I thank God daily for allowing me to be with her. She is such a wonderful person and she has made me happier than I could have ever imagined. While we're appart I spend every minute anticipating the next time I will see her.
For various reasons I'm not going to put her name here. But after some time I'm now at least able to put up her picture.

This section dedicated to the memory of my cat, Sabastian. I had him for seven years, March '90 to October '97, until he died of a heart attack. I really miss him...

I created a QuickTime VR movie of my room, mainly for the fun of it. My room has, however, been re-arranged since I made this. I havn't re-done the movie since it does take quite a bit of time & effort to do a decent job. But it does give you an idea of the strange world I choose to live in.
To view this its best to have QuickTime 3.0 or later, though it should work with QuickTime 2.5, so long as all QTVR parts are present.
After owning my Hybrid Insight for 5 years, I decided it was time to move on. After getting married, the fact that the Insight was a two seater started to cause problems. I went with the Honda Fit this time around. Its a nice car, and with the folding rear seats it comes in rather roomy. I miss my Insight, but I do love my Fit...
This section contains a few wishlists that I have online. So if you're interested in getting me anything, this is the place to look...
